Device Information

When you visit the site we automatically collect certain information about your device. The purpose of this is to load the Site correctly, monitor website traffic, assist with the navigation and user experience of the Site, perform analytics on the Site usage and optimise our Site. This is shared with our processor Shopify.

  • Information on how you navigate and browse the site through the use of Log Files such as"Web Beacons”, “Tags” & “Pixels”  

 We may use and analyse the information we collect so that we can manage and improve the services on the website. Demographic and statistical information about user behaviour may be collected and used to analyse the popularity and effectiveness of the website. Any disclosure of this information will be in aggregate form and will not identify individual users.

Petite Paw Prints will not (nor will it allow any third party to) use the statistical analytics tools to track or to collect personally identifiable information of visitors to this website. We will not associate any data gathered with any personally identifying information from any source as part of our use of the statistical analytics tools.  

Personal Information

Additionally when you make a purchase through the Site or require customer support, we collect certain Order Information from you. This enable us to provide customer support, products or services to fulfil our contract to you, to process your shipping information, arrange shipping, provide invoices for goods purchased, communicate with you, and when in line with the preferences you’ve shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products and services. We also use this information to screen our orders from potential risk or fraud. Personal information collected through customer support will not be shared outside or Petite Paw Prints, all other Personal Information collected relating to Orders/Purchases through the site is shared with our processor Shopify.

Personal Information collected from you inlcudes: 

  • Name
  • Billing Address and shipping address
  • Contact information including email address and phone number
  • Demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
  • Payment information (including bank details or credit card numbers) to facilitate transactions
  • Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers. 

We will make sure that we only collect the data that we need, and will only use it for the purpose specified at the point it was collected. Some of this information is imperative to enable us to provide a service (such as contact information). 

 

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example:

  • We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
  • To offer you kanas payment methods, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klana, in order for Klana to assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and to tailor those payment methods for you. Your personal data transferred to Klana will be processed in line with Klana’s Privacy Policy  

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you.

Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.

Services that include elements of automated decision-making include:

  • Temporary deny list of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions. This deny list persists for a small number of hours.
  • Temporary deny list of credit cards associated with deny listed IP addresses. This deny list persists for a small number of days.
