Paw Print Jewellery
All of our Petite Paw Print charms are available in a range of styles to suit you. Simply head over to the shop section of the website and select your desired jewellery design, you can then choose the size, precious metal of choice, any personalised engraving and whether you would like it with or without a chain.
Once your order is placed a beautifully presented print kit will be sent out to you that can be used immediately or given as a gift. Once you have taken your print and sent it back in the prepaid envelope, we will be begin the process of creating your bespoke jewellery.
The dimensions, shape and material will essentially be the same as the design you have chosen, but please appreciate that every charm is bespoke and unique just your pet’s paw print would be.
Once we clean up your paw print we will then resize it to fit the requested charm. Although some fine details of the pad texture will be lost when resizing the paw, the unique shape of your pet’s paw will be perfectly captured in your deep relief jewellery.
Petite Paw Prints uses only the finest sustainable materials and traditional jewellery techniques to ensure our customers worldwide receive heirloom fine jewellery. Based in our small private atelier and working alongside our master craftsmen, we carve each individual charm before it is precision cast in Birmingham Jewellery Quarter. Using the ancient art of lost wax casting, 100% recycled molten silver and gold is poured into the mould, leaving a pure, solid piece of jewellery, which we hand finish, engrave and polish. Each piece is hallmarked to verify its quality and purity by the UK Assay Office.
We are committed to exceptional craftsmanship and our quality promise ensures we never use any fine metal clay to create our jewellery range.
All Petite Paw Prints jewellery are hand made to order. This means that each piece is made especially for you and we ask that you allow 4-6 weeks for the turnaround.
If you need a piece before a specific date, please contact us before ordering to ensure this will be possible and avoid any disappointment. Please note that turnaround times are an approximate guide and are subject to change or delay especialy during busy holidays. Always check the product description when ordering.
Once it is ready to ship out, you will receive an email notification with all of your tracking and shipping info.
When you place an order we send you out a print kit with clear instructions on how to take your pet’s print. We always suggest you take prints when your pet is relaxed and if needed, trim any fur between the pads if the hair is long, so enough detail of the pad can be taken. If preferred, we offer the option of submitting a photo of your pets paw print instead of a print. The photo criteria for accepting a paw print photo can be found on the product page.
What happens if my prints aren’t clear?
The print kit allows you to take several prints and we always work with the best paw print provided, however if you are concerned about a print you have taken, you can simply send us an email with an image attached and we can happily advise whether it can bed used. If we receive your paw prints and are unable to work with them we will get in touch and let you know.
Can you improve the prints I’ve taken?
We always clean up any smudges or blurring on the paw prints you have taken, to ensure you get the best results without editing altering your pet’s unique paw print. However if there are gaps or marks that you would like us to fill in or remove, then we can easily do this for you as long as it is noted when sending the prints to us. However please note we do not alter the outline shape of the print that is unique to your pet. This in no way compromises the quality of your bespoke paw print charm.
I already have a print can I use it?
We can certainly work with a previous paw print you might have. You can either take a clear photo of the print and email it over or send it to us in the post. We recommend you send it using special signed for & tracked delivery service if this is precious to ensure safe delivery, or simply take a photo or scan the print and email it over to us.
Can I order more jewellery with the original print?
We are more than happy to use your existing print to create additional jewellery charms, we always keep a digital copy of your paw print on file for twelve months or you can resubmit your print and we can work from that.
Will you let me know if my prints have arrived?
Once we have received your prints we will send you a confirmation email, if you haven’t received an email with three days of sending your print back to us in the prepaid return envelope then please get in touch. To prevent our emails getting caught in your junk folder it we recommend that you add hello@petitepawprints.co.uk to your email contacts.
As part of our commitment to excellent customer service we off free engraving service, just add what you would like engraved in the section required when ordering. We always recommend you check your personalisation notes carefully on ordering and at the checkout screen. Please be sure to check whether spaces, capital letters and spelling are correct. Once the order has been placed and we have received the paw print, we will start working on it immediately and will not alter anything.
If you have made an error or have any question regarding the personalisation then you can call us or email us. However please note that if we have not confirmed amendments with you over the phone or by email then they will not take place.
Firstly we are so sorry for your loss and appreciate this can be a very difficult time for you and your family. If your pet has passed away you can either take a clear photo of the paw pad or ask your vet to take an ink print. However if you would rather us send you a kit, you can order your paw print charm and select the next day special delivery service to ensure speedy arrival.
Shipping & Returns
Once your order is ready it will be lovingly packed and dispatched as per below:
UK orders are dispatched for free via Royal Mail Special Delivery service so your packages arrive as quickly and safely as possible. Delivery is usually made within 1-2 days (excluding Sunday) of being dispatched and will need to be signed for on receipt. You can always track your order with a Royal Mail tracking number for peace of mind that you will recieve in your confirmation email. If you are not there to accept the delivery, a card will be left at your address with instructions on how to collect your jewellery from Royal Mail.
International Orders are sent via DHL so your packages arrive as quickly and safely as possible. We ship out of our office in the UK and depending on the delivery location, shipping can take between 4-6 working days. You can always track your order through your account or the shipping confirmation e-mail sent after your order is sent out. Delivery costs for international shipping are calculated at checkout.
If your package is lost in transit, please email us right away and we will try our best to solve the issue. All of our shipping methods are fully insured so your pieces are covered whilst in transit. You will be responsible for signing for the receipt of your package. Once order is signed for, it is no longer considered in transit and is therefore no longer insured nor is it the responsibility of Petite Paw Prints.
If you have opted to use a paw print kit rather than submit a photo or an existing print, then we will send this out to you the next working day using Royal Mail First Class service. You should receive you print with 2-3 working days. If your kit has gone missing in the post or not arrived during this time please let us know.
It is with deep regret that as of the 31st January 2020 BREXIT was passed by law and as a result the UK is no longer part of the EU. Sadly as of the 1st January 2021 that any orders placed by our international customers outside of the UK will be subject to an additional percentage fee of the original order on delivery of your order.
Please note that once your order arrives in the country of destination, local guidelines apply and your order may be subject to country taxes and local duties. These taxes and duties are not included in your purchase price and as the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country. Payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival.
We work with only high quality precious metals and take pride in the quality of our jewellery. Your Petite Paw Print jewellery is therefore guaranteed for six months of purchase and any repairs will be made free of charge. Our warranty does not cover items that are defective or damaged, resulting from improper handling, lack of care, misuse, accidents, normal wear and tear or lost stones.

If your jewellery is outside of the six months guarantee we may be able to repair your jewellery at an additional fee.
Personalised Jewellery
Due to the personalised nature of our bespoke paw print jewellery, we are unable to accept returns. To avoid disappointment please ensure that you check all details carefully when ordering and are happy with your paw print before returning them to our studio. This is to avoid making any items unnecessarily or in excess to reduce our environmental footprint.
NON Personalised jewellery & Products
We always hope that you love your Petite Paw Print jewellery & products but if the event that you would like to exercise your right to return an item purchased, Petite Paw Prints will not accept returned products that have been worn, damaged, or altered from there original status. you can return or exchange any non personalised item from Petite Paw Prints within 14 days of receipt of the delivery date. The item must be returned in its original packaging with your name and proof of purchase/order number.
Please note: We are unable to accept returns of non personalised earrings due to hygiene reasons.
UK Returns are free of charge and postage will be covered. Please contact hello@petitepawprints.co.uk within seven days of the item being delivered to you, to obtain instructions on how to send us back your parcel.
You may return an internationally shipped non personalised order for a refund. Please note that that customers outside the UK are responsible for paying for international shipping for returning the item. We highly recommend posting it using track & trace service as Petite Paw Prints cannot be held responsible if items are lost during transit. The refund will in this case also not be possible.
Refunds & Cancellations
Can I cancel my order?
All cancellation requests will be revised on an individual basis and will depend on what stage your order is at. You may be entitled to a partial refund if you request a cancellation after you have received your paw print kit. Once work has started on your personalised paw print jewellery we will be unable to cancel your order. For any cancellations please contact hello@petitepawprints.co.uk with your name and order number as soon as possible.
Can I get a refund?
Petite Paw Prints does not offer refunds on any personalised jewellery, made to order including but not limited to bespoke charms, earrings, cufflinks or chains. In addition this includes styles to which engraving, or bespoke messages have been added.
If you believe there is a fault with your personalised jewellery please contact us straight away to arrange return via Royal Mail for assessment. If the item is deemed faulty we will repair or replace your jewellery. A refund will be issued if we are unable to repair or replace your piece. Please note Petite Paw Prints do not refund the original cost of shipping the product to you.
Jewellery that is considered defective or damaged, resulting from improper handling, lack of care, misuse, accidents, normal wear and tear will not qualify for a refund. We recommend that all of Petite Paw Print jewellery should be cared for as set out in our recommended care instructions that accompanies your order.
Please note card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete, unfortunately we are unable to influence this.
Is petitepawprints.co.uk a secured website?
Yes. All the information transmitted is secured using standard internet protocols (SSL). PetitePawPrints.co.uk does not store credit or debit card information.
Gifting
E-Gift Cards
Petite Paw Print jewellery make beautiful bespoke gifts, so an E-Gift card is the perfect way to spoil someone you love with style. Simply purchase a value and leave a personalised message and we will look after the rest with a customised email, either sent directly the recipient or to yourself to be printed out and passed on. Your E-Gift Card will arrive within 24 hours via email once the order is placed.
Physical Gift Cards
Want a physical Gift Card delivered straight to their door? Simply select the value and your personalised message, fill in the recipients details in the delivery address, and we will deliver your perfectly packaged Petite Paw Print Gift Card. A note will be printed with your special message and will be dispatched with 1-2 working days via Royal Mail once your order has been placed.
How do I use my Gift Card?
Petite Paw Print Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from purchase date and can be used towards any Petite Paw Print product. Simply visit the online store at petitepawprints.co.uk and enter your unique gift card code at the payment step of the checkout to redeem your voucher. The Gift Card is only redeemable in the currency issued in. Gift Cards are non-refundable, are not returnable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
What if I loose my Gift Card?
Don’t panic we have you covered! If you loose your card you can request a resend of your gift card in the confirmation email by clicking the 'resend gift card' button. This option is only available to the person who purchased the Gift Card and received the confirmation email.
What’s the balance left on my Gift Card?
If you would like us to check your Gift Card balance then email us at hello@petitepawprints.co.uk with your order number. We will then send you a statement of any monies remaining on your card.
